Scripture – Micah 6:2

2 Hear, you mountains, the case of the Lord, and you enduring foundations of the earth, for the Lord has a case against his people, and he will contend with Israel.

Prayer Focus: Micah is speaking here; he is calling on all of creation to bear witness to this courtroom trial. The mountains, the hills, the very foundations of the earth are present as God confronts the people. All the way back to the beginning of creation, the people seem to have forgotten their story as God’s people, therefore God summons creation to help remind them of who they are and whose they are. Pray and be assured today that you are a beloved child of God, and God loves you.
