Sunday Mornings

Sunday Mornings

With a dedicated staff and team of amazing volunteers, we provide many opportunities for children of all ages to worship with us on Sundays. From nursery to Sunday School and Children in Worship, we have programming for every child.

Nursery: Infant through 4 years old

Our nursery provides a safe and loving environment for young children while their parents participate in Worship, Sunday School and select events. We provide nursery during both worship services and during Sunday school. Consistency is important for children – we have talented and loving paid Nursery Caregivers present every Sunday who have collectively  faithfully served Unity’s children for over 50 years!

Sunday School: 2 years old thru 5th Grade

Sunday school is offered each week for children ages 2 and up at 10:00am and is led by a team of caring adults. We seek to provide a place where children feel they belong and are important to the life of the church. In Sunday school, children learn through Bible stories, games and related activities and experience the love of Jesus Christ so they can share his love with others.

Children in Worship: 4 years old thru 1st Grade

After the children’s message during both worship services, children are invited to participate in Children in Worship. This program is a very special place where children can come to encounter God, be still with God, listen to and nurture their spiritual life. CIW is formed to help children learn how to follow along in worship and prepare them for when they attend “big church” with their parents.

Safe Place Policy

Unity is a Safe Place for all of God’s children. Anyone interested in volunteering with children and youth at Unity is required to complete a Volunteer application, which authorizes us to complete a background check, and to attend Safe Place Training. Training is offered for new volunteers on a regular basis.
