Congregational Meeting – November 16th, 2025
The Session has called a Congregational Meeting to be held immediately after both morning worship services on Sunday, November 16th to hear and act on a report from the Nominating Committee. Due to unexpected circumstances and other obligations for one previously elected, the committee will be nominating an additional deacon to the Class of 2028. When available, the name and information of those who will be nominated will be shared here:

Stephanie Berens – My family joined Unity in 2017 after moving to Fort Mill from Charlotte. My husband Mike and I are the proud parents of Rose (10) and Lily (6). While at Unity, I have co-chaired and volunteered for VBS as well as taught and served as an assistant in children’s Sunday school. Currently I serve on the Children’s Ministry Team, volunteer as a storyteller for CIW, participate in the Messy Motherhood group, and help teach the Faith Formation adult Sunday school class. In the community I serve as the PTA President at Springfield Elementary and am a member of the Greenway Ladies Guild. Prior to staying at home, I worked as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley. I am looking forward to this opportunity to serve God and the church and grow deeper in my faith.
