Women of Unity sponsors the following special events each year:
Mother Daughter Sister Friend Luncheon – Spring 2024
Women of Unity together with the Men’s Ministry, host an annual spring luncheon to celebrate the mothers, daughters, sisters and friends here at Unity Presbyterian Church. The program includes a luncheon served by the Men’s Ministry and a guest speaker or concert.
Unity Post – December 2024
Unity Post is a New Horizon Circle annual Christmas tradition for the entire Unity family. A post office display is set up in the Narthex to allow Christmas cards to be exchanged among church members. A donation of the postage cost is made to the Pastor Discretionary Fund which provides for the unmet emergency needs of members of our community.
Tony Dehler Christmas Auction – December 2024
The Tony Dehler Christmas Auction is a beloved annual event here at Unity. A variety of donations, both new and homemade gifts, baked goods, gift certificates and more are auctioned off just in time for Christmas gift giving. It is an evening of fellowship, food, and lots of fun to benefit both the Fort Mill Care Center and contributions to the Hugh White Educational Scholarship.
Women’s Connection Conference in Montreat – August 9th-11th, 2024
This year our Women of Unity are taking a sabbath from our own annual retreat. But for women who still need a fall respite, you’re invited to the Montreat Women’s Connection Conference. Women’s Connection 2024 will be a time for women to connect with old and new friends, a time to care for yourself; a time for space and Sabbath. We will do this together through powerful and authentic worship led by women, space for honest and faithful conversation, and allowing time for discernment and renewing rest. Our hope is you will experience spiritual nourishment, inspiration, and discernment. To find out more about the event, or to sign up, please contact Rev.
