Scripture – Micah 6:3

3 “O my people, what have I done to you? In what have I wearied you? Answer me!”

Prayer Focus: Knowing all that God’s people have gotten wrong, we might expect God to be angry.  Yet as God begins to speak, we hear pleading.  God is pleading with Israel, not yelling, not condemning.  This is the voice of a loving parent who yearns for their child to come home.  Even as the charges are stacked against Israel, God wants them to talk to him and be in relationship with him once more.  Pray and give thanks that God loves so deeply that even when we get things wrong, God seeks us out to make things right again.
