Scripture – Luke 14:16-17

16 Then Jesus said to him, “Someone gave a great dinner and invited many. 17 At the time for the dinner he sent his slave to say to those who had been invited, ‘Come, for everything is ready now.’

Prayer Focus: Jesus responds to this guest’s declaration that blessed is anyone who will eat bread in the kingdom of God by telling a parable about someone who gives a great dinner. The host has invited many and when the time for the dinner arrived, he sent his slave to let them know that everything was ready. Can you hear the invitation to come to the table? Are you a guest at this feast? Are you one who has been sent to announce that all is ready? Pray that you might hear the invitation and share the invitation today.
