Scripture – Jeremiah 32:15

15 For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Houses and fields and vineyards shall again be bought in this land.”

Prayer Focus: The text that began with the king’s confusion over Jeremiah’s proclamation of destruction and exile ends with a promise of hope. The field Jeremiah bought was right in the middle of the path of destruction for the conquering army. But even here, in God’s time, houses and fields and vineyards would again be bought. The deed in the earthenware jar would be needed, for one day the property will be viable and valuable again. Pray not just that God will carry you and our church into the future. Pray that God’s future will be one of flourishing and hope. Pray that you might trust in the plans and purposes of God.
