Scripture – Matthew 13:33

33 He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed in with three measures of flour until all of it was leavened.”

Prayer Focus: Jesus tells another parable. The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that is mixed by a woman into three measures of flour. Once again we find the kingdom compared to something small, and yet powerful. Just a touch of yeast is added to three measures of flour. And yet, as it is mixed in, the yeast leavened the entire batch of flour. The kingdom of heaven is like this, small and yet powerful enough to entirely transform that which it encounters. To God be the Glory!
