Scripture – Matthew 3:17

17 And a voice from the heavens said, “This is my Son, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased.”

Prayer Focus: In Matthew’s Gospel, it appears that all who are gathered by the Jordan when Jesus was baptized hear a voice from the heavens declaring “This is my Son, the Beloved, with him I am well pleased.” We began this week praying that we might hear the voice of the Lord. Pray that you might hear and believe these words that the Lord speaks about you today. You are a child God. You are beloved. With you, God is well pleased.
