Scripture – 1 Peter 2:2-3

2 Like newborn infants, long for the pure, spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow into salvation—

3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good.

Prayer Focus: This week we will look at two texts as we make our way toward worship on Sunday. The first is from the second chapter of the First Letter of Peter. The author compares the young Christians to newborn infants who are longing for pure spiritual milk. As you think about your faith and your relationship with God, what are you longing for? Where do you feel a need to grow? May your prayers today reveal the ways you might grow into salvation.
