Scripture – Joel 2:28-29

28 Then afterward

    I will pour out my spirit on all flesh;

your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,

    your old men shall dream dreams,

    and your young men shall see visions.

29 Even on the male and female slaves,

    in those days I will pour out my spirit.

Prayer Focus: Perhaps you have heard these verses as part of Peter’s Pentecost speech after the apostles receive the Holy Spirit. God will pour out the spirit on all flesh. The young and the old, the male and the female, the free and the enslaved. All will receive the power of the Holy Spirit. All will receive the power of the Holy Spirit – that means you and everyone you meet. Give thanks for this gift and ask for eyes to see the Spirit at work in surprising people and places today.
