Scripture – Romans 8:28

28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.

Prayer Focus: The apostle Paul continues to share words of assurance with the church in Rome. Notice that he does not say that all things are good. Instead, he writes that “all things work together for good.” God’s redeeming and reconciling work of wholeness and shalom can envelop all things and pull them toward the good. As you look at our world today, notice places where there is brokenness and strife. Pray that God will gather up all the broken pieces in the world and use them to work together for good.
