Scripture – Romans 8:29-30

29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn within a large family. 30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

Prayer Focus: Without diving too deeply into the theology of predestination here, notice what Paul indicates the results of God’s predestination are: adoption into a large family, justification, and glorification. It’s all positive. Give thanks that God chooses and elects you to be part of a large and diverse family. Give thanks that you are part of a family that extends throughout the entire world.
