Unity’s fall class is scheduled for Saturday, October 24. Class will meet in the Fellowship Hall. It will begin at 9:30 a.m. and be done by noon. Topics covered will be basic Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation(CPR), use of the AEDs, and choking first aid. The last topic is important for all ages, but especially critical for those around children. The American Heart Association instructors are from Innovative Solutions, an emergency training center located in Charlotte. The class uses video instruction, teacher-led discussion and hands-on practice. Cost is $50.00 in cash, payable at the door.
