Scripture – 2 Thessalonians 1:3

3 We must always give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing.

Prayer Focus: As we continue this week, we turn to the second letter to the Thessalonians. As on Sunday (All Saints) we will remember all those from our congregation and community who have died over the last year, these verses begin with thanksgiving. We must always give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters. We give thanks for those who have moved into the church eternal for their faith and witness has been an inspiration for each of us. Take time today to give thanks to God in your prayers for those who have died but who continue to inspire you.
