Scripture – Luke 21:8

8 And he said, “Beware that you are not led astray, for many will come in my name and say, ‘I am he!’ and, ‘The time is near!’ Do not go after them.

Prayer Focus: Jesus indicates that there are many false signs and false messiahs that will call out for our allegiance and attention. They realize we want to know the time, we want to be a part of the movement, so they manipulate us into thinking that they are the one for whom we wait. They call out “I am he!” and “The time is near!” but it’s all a hoax. Do not go after them. Pray that you might have a discerning heart to not go after false messiahs.
