Prayer Focus: All of this song of praise with the voices and joyful noises of all creation, is because the Lord is coming to judge the earth. Coming to judge? That might bring an immediate pause to the song. We’re looking for God to love us and accept us, not judge us … right? But the Lord is coming to set things right; to judge the world with righteousness and the people with equity. We know this judgement is good news because we know the judge. But still it gives us pause. Do not let the threat of judgment quench your song. Join the hills and sing together for joy. The Lord is on the way!
