Prayer Focus: As is typically the case for a biblical prophet, the prophet hears God’s call and initially responds with an objection. Lord, you must be mistaken because …  In Jeremiah’s case he believes he is too young to be a prophet to the nations. He is too young to be transformed into the unfolding story God has in mind for him. This Sunday we will celebrate with our 8th graders as our 2026 Confirmation Class. Are they too young to be transformed by God’s love? Certainly not! What are our objections? What is holding you back, what is holding our church back, from joining God’s transforming and unfolding story? Pray that you might lift up your objection to God, but that it will not hold you back.
