Wednesday, December 8: Scripture – Luke 2:6-7
6 While they were there, the time came for her to deliver her child.
7 And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in bands of cloth, and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.
Prayer Focus: There was no place for them in the inn. This was probably not a five-star hotel or even a budget motel where you have to pay for television. However large or small the establishment was, whether it was with family or strangers, there was no room so the Son of God was born and laid in the feedbox for the animals. Will there be room for Christ in your heart and in your life today? Don’t wait until Christmas Eve to clear off the corner of a desk or a drawer, prepare your heart and your life to receive him today.
