Scripture – 1 Thessalonians 2:11-12

11 As you know, we dealt with each one of you like a father with his children, 12 urging and encouraging you and pleading that you lead a life worthy of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory.

Prayer Focus: Paul likes to use the phrase, “a life worthy of God,” but it can be one that trips us up. Are we striving to be worthy of God’s love? No, we can never be worthy of God’s love. But God loves us anyway and so we can seek to live a life of gratitude and praise in response. That is something we can be urged and encouraged to do. That is a life worthy of the gift God has given you. Pray that you might live with gratitude and praise today.
