Thursday, March 9: Scripture – Joshua 4:6-7
6 so that this may be a sign among you. When your children ask in time to come, ‘What do those stones mean to you?’
7 then you shall tell them that the waters of the Jordan were cut off in front of the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it crossed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. So these stones shall be to the Israelites a memorial forever.”
Prayer Focus: The children will ask, “What do these stones mean to you?” It will be your job to tell the story of your experience of God’s grace and deliverance. The children need to know what you’ve done and left undone. The children need to know how God has impacted your life – especially over the last several years of pandemic. What sign do you have that will help you remember? What sign do you have that will give you an opportunity to tell the story of what God has done for you?
