Scripture – Ephesians 1:5-6

5 He destined us for adoption as his children through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of his will,

6 to the praise of his glorious grace that he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.

Prayer Focus: Notice Paul’s continued focus on Christ throughout this thanksgiving. Not because of anything that we have done or earned or deserve, but merely because of the good pleasure of God’s will, we were adopted as God’s children through Jesus Christ. God chose us to be children of God. God has chosen you. Give thanks to God that you are beloved by God today.
