Scripture – Hebrews 10:24-25

24 And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Prayer Focus: I find the language here so interesting – “let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds.” It’s not just encouraging (that comes later in the next verse), but “provoking.” I remember provoking my younger brother when we were young in order to get attention from them. I’m not sure I have great experience in someone provoking others to love and good deeds. But, let’s give it a try. Pray that you might provoke someone to love and good deeds today. Pray that you might provoke someone into joining you at the table today.
