Scripture – James 2:17

17 So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.

Prayer Focus: Each Sunday before the sermon begins, I pray, “May the words of my mouth and the meditations of all our hearts be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, for you are our rock and our redeemer.” Today, I pray that the words we speak, and the meditations of our hearts might respond to God’s love by expanding love through relationships of justice and shalom. May our love be embodied and enacted today.
