Sunday, March 26: Scripture – Matthew 14:32-33
32 When they got into the boat, the wind ceased.
33 And those in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”
Prayer Focus: Jesus and Peter get in the boat and the wind ceases. The goal was never to get Peter to walk on the water. The goal was to get Jesus in the boat with the disciples. We need to stay in the boat together. As we bring our step up and step out pledges today, stay in the boat with your fellow disciples. There is one who can walk on water, and it’s not you. Jesus comes to join us in the boat because together in the boat with him we will make it safely to the end of the journey Jesus intends for us to share. Thanks be to God.
