Hymn: Let Us Build a House

Prayer Focus: Our high school youth were tasked with selecting the hymns for this morning’s worship service. We compiled several options and listened to each one while reading the lyrics. “Let Us Build a House” was the immediate favorite of the group, and they unanimously selected this as our opening hymn. In preparation for worship today, I invite you to listen to the hymn and read the lyrics. What do you hear about the kind of house that God calls us to build? What does that house look like? Who is included? Today, I pray that we all may be able to hear the Holy Spirit speak today through the voices of our young people, as they lead us in building the kind of house this hymn describes.
