Scripture – Micah 6:8

8 He has told you, O mortal, what is good, and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice and to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God?

Prayer Focus: So many times we wonder what God wants from us.  What is the answer to how we are called to live our lives?  Micah says, the Lord requires us to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with God.  Augustine noted that the “love of God, the love of neighbor, and the offering of self in loving service to one another are far superior to any other sacrifice or burnt offering.”  The answer is here in this text we encounter this week, pray that we are courageous and faithful enough to listen and follow.
