Scripture – Isaiah 61:3b-4

They will be called oaks of righteousness,

    the planting of the Lord, to display his glory.

4 They shall build up the ancient ruins;

    they shall raise up the former devastations;

they shall repair the ruined cities,

    the devastations of many generations.

Prayer Focus: Love comes down to plant, to build, to raise up, and to repair. Love comes down into the most difficult and challenging moments and places and begins the work of starting again. Pray that you might be a part of Christ’s work of love, reconciliation, hope, peace, and restoration today. Pray that our church might join in this work of love throughout the year ahead.
