Scripture – Hebrews 13:1

1 Let mutual affection continue.

Prayer Focus: Our second scripture for this week is two verses from the 13th chapter of Hebrews. It begins, “Let mutual affection continue.” What the author is commending to the young church is not just showing love to others, but also being willing to receive love from others. The affection is mutual, it is shared. Perhaps that is an important part of “belonging” – an opportunity to love and be loved. Pray that mutual affection may continue today.
