Scripture – Jeremiah 1:4-5 (CEV)

4 The Lord said:

5 “Jeremiah, I am your Creator,
    and before you were born,
I chose you to speak for me
    to the nations.”

Prayer Focus: This coming Sunday, our children will lead the congregation in worship for Children’s Sabbath for the second year in a row. I thank you for the trust you put in them. I hope you will be open to praying the prayers they have written and listening to the message they will share based on their study of scripture. I believe God has called them to share this service with you just as he called Jeremiah to speak to Judah and the surrounding Gentile nations. God created Jeremiah for the task of prophesying before he was even born. God created all of us, knew our names, and chose us for particular service before we were even born. Pray that if you don’t know what God has chosen you for, that God will reveal that to you so that you can live out that calling in our world today.
