Monday, November 29: Scripture – Psalm 139:7-8
7 Where can I go from your spirit? Or where can I flee from your presence?
8 If I ascend to heaven, you are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, you are there.
Prayer Focus: We continue with our Advent theme “The Light Still Shines” this week with verses from Psalm 139 and our first look at John 1. We begin with the Psalm as the psalmist poses a question to God. Where can I go from your spirit? Or where can I flee from your presence? These seem to be rhetorical questions as we begin to hear that even in heaven and in Sheol, God is there. God is there. Even if you begin to wonder today, know that God is there.
