Monday, January 17: Scripture – 1 Corinthians 12:12
12 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.
Prayer Focus: The body of Christ is a familiar image from scripture. Paul uses it in this chapter to talk about our unity in Christ and yet also our diversity of gifts and roles. I encourage you to think today and this week about unity. On this MLK Day, pray for unity that celebrates the gifts of diversity. For all the members of the body, though many, are one body.
