Scripture – Luke 15:25-27

25 “Now his elder son was in the field, and as he came and approached the house, he heard music and dancing. 26 He called one of the slaves and asked what was going on. 27 He replied, ‘Your brother has come, and your father has killed the fatted calf because he has got him back safe and sound.’

Prayer Focus: The celebration begins and there is another son in the field. He apparently has not received news of his brother’s return or the celebration his father has initiated. He has to learn both from one of the slaves. Try to put yourself in the shoes of this elder son. Have you ever felt left out of something wonderful? Have you forgotten to include someone important in your plans for today? Pray for those seeking restoration and reconciliation today.
