11 The Lord will guide you continually
    and satisfy your needs in parched places
    and make your bones strong,
and you shall be like a watered garden,
    like a spring of water
    whose waters never fail.

12 Your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt;
    you shall raise up the foundations of many generations;
you shall be called the repairer of the breach,
    the restorer of streets to live in.

Prayer Focus: Isaiah began this chapter saying that God’s people were seeking God in ineffective ways. The prophet ends the chapter with a vision of our individual life and our communal life being like a watered garden in a rebuilt city. Pray that you might be a repairer of the breach, a restorer of streets to live in today as you fast from the distractions which demand your time and attention. Pray that you might tend your soul with the Lord today.
