Scripture – Micah 6:5

5 “O my people, remember now what King Balak of Moab devised, what Balaam son of Beor answered him, and what happened from Shittim to Gilgal, that you may know the saving acts of the Lord.”

Prayer Focus: Notice that God says, “remember.”  The people know that God loves them and has redeemed them before, they just need to remember those truths.  God reminds them about preventing the plans of Balak, the king of Moab to curse Israel.  God also reminds them of Joshua’s miraculous crossing of the Jordan to the promised land at Gilgal.  Time and time again God has come to Israel’s aid and kept God’s promises.  Pray this week that we might remember the ways in which God’s promises are also present in our lives.
