34 While he was speaking, a cloud appeared and covered them, and they were afraid as they entered the cloud.
Prayer Focus: While Peter is speaking, a cloud appears and covers them. Often in scripture when there’s a direct encounter with God on a mountain it involves a cloud as God’s presence is mysterious. It is no wonder they were afraid. Where their eyes had been blinded by glory, now they will be unable to see anything. Pray for those who are afraid because they are unable to see a way forward. Pray that they (including you) might find others beside them as they enter the cloud.
