Friday, August 11 – Scripture: 1 Kings 19:13
13 When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave. Then there came a voice to him that said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”
Prayer Focus: God speaks to Elijah, and God also speaks to us when we need it most. When we allow ourselves to stand still long enough, and quiet down all the noise from our distracted lives, we too can hear God speaking. The voice of God may not come from where we expect it to, but it’s there. Pray this week that you might hear God speaking in your life.
