4 what are humans that you are mindful of them,
mortals that you care for them?
5 Yet you have made them a little lower than God
and crowned them with glory and honor.
Prayer Focus: When we look at the stars and the heavens, when we look out at a broad vista of mountain ranges or ever rolling hills, we can feel very small. What are humans that God is mindful of us, that God cares for us? And yet somehow God has made us little lower than God or the angels? You are wonderfully and carefully made. You are treasured by God. Everyone you meet is wonderfully and carefully made. May we embrace with humility the gift it is to be a child of the creator of the heavens and the earth.
