Scripture – Romans 8:38-39

38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Prayer Focus: There is perhaps no greater assurance than these two verses from Romans 8. Nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. I often use these verses as a part of memorial services and funerals because this is the foundation, the bedrock, that we can build our faith and hope upon. Give thanks for this amazing gift today.
