Scripture – Matthew 22:13-14

13 Then the king said to the attendants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ 14 For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Prayer Focus: The one without a wedding robe is bound and thrown out – not just out of the party, out of the “light” and into the outer darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. I am starting to wonder if the king in this parable is God or Jesus as this doesn’t sound like the God we know and trust. Pray for those who are cast out. Pray that all might be welcome and included in the kingdom of heaven.
