Scripture – Matthew 22:4

4 Again he sent other slaves, saying, ‘Tell those who have been invited: Look, I have prepared my dinner, my oxen and my fat calves have been slaughtered, and everything is ready; come to the wedding banquet.’

Prayer Focus: The king is committed to this banquet, so he sends a second round of messengers to tell those who are invited that everything is ready, there’s a huge amount of food for even the fatted calf has been killed. Now is the time to come, so the king gives those invited a second chance. Pray that if you missed a first opportunity, that you will say yes the second time the invitation comes around. And pray for those who work behind the scenes to prepare such a feast for you – perhaps it is literal food or perhaps it is another kind of “feast.” But someone is hard at work preparing the gift for you. Pray for them and give thanks to the Lord for them.
