Scripture – Psalm 119:121-122 

121 I have done what is just and right; 

    do not leave me to my oppressors. 

122 Guarantee your servant’s well-being; 

    do not let the godless oppress me. 

Prayer Focus: Oftentimes we think that we can secure our own well-being if we do what is just and right. As long as we follow the rules, everything should work out in our favor, right? The psalmist seems to indicate that even though they have done what is just and right they still need to appeal to the Lord for help. The psalmist asks for their well-being to be guaranteed. What do you think you can handle on your own and what do you need to turn over to God for help? Pray that you might actually turn it all over to the Lord today.
