Scripture – 1 Corinthians 12:1

1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be ignorant.

Prayer Focus: While we typically translate the first few words of this text, “Now concerning spiritual gifts,” an even more accurate translation would be “Now concerning spiritual things.” How concerned are you with “spiritual things?” Do you spend most of your time and efforts with material things – or do you also consider spiritual things? As we prepare this week to celebrate Pentecost on Sunday, pray that you might consider the spiritual things of life today.
