Scripture – Exodus 3:4

4 When the Lord saw that he had turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.”   

Prayer Focus: The Lord sees that the burning bush has caught Moses’ attention, so God calls Moses by name. Moses responds, “Here I am.” It is an answer indicating availability. Moses has not initiated this conversation; he is not making demands on the speaker; he is merely responding that he is present, vulnerable, and available. As God speaks to you today (remember you are slowing down to be sure to notice when God shows up) pray that you will be open to the message God brings.
