Scripture – Exodus 3:5-6

5 Then he said, “Come no closer! Remove the sandals from your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.” 6 He said further, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God.

Prayer Focus: Who knew that a mountain side in the middle of the desert was holy ground? It was not a temple or a shrine. It was not a place with history or gold fixtures. But it was the place where God chose to speak to Moses. God was there and thus, it was holy ground. Could it be that you are on holy ground today, on a Thursday? Give thanks for God’s presence with you today – for you are standing on holy ground.
