that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting the message of reconciliation to us.

Prayer Focus: Can you image if our trespasses WERE counted against us? I imagine an angel of the Lord standing behind a podium with a list of our wrong doings that is so long it spills down onto the floor and out the door. Instead of counting our sins against us, God reconciles us to God so that we can be in a loving relationship with our Creator and with all of creation. Pray this week that as we are reconciled to God, we might also be reconciled with one another.
