Scripture – 2 Corinthians 5:18

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation;

Prayer Focus: What does reconciliation mean? It means two parties in dispute being brought together to restore their relationship. God initiates reconciliation with us through God’s son Jesus Christ. Paul emphasizes that it is God who takes action over our sin. God did not wait for us to figure it out, or to change our behaviors on our own over a long period of time, God was the first one to act. Pray this week and give thanks to God for the gift of Jesus Christ to reconcile us all.
