9 I will not execute my fierce anger;
    I will not again destroy Ephraim,
for I am God and no mortal,
    the Holy One in your midst,
    and I will not come in wrath.

Prayer Focus: God’s anger is justifiable, but God pledges to not execute it. God pledges not to destroy God’s people. God pledges not to come in wrath. As Christians we know that God comes to us as Jesus to take that wrath and punishment we deserve upon God’s own self. God’s response to evil, sin, and rebellion is the cross. How often the leaders of our world react with wrath, resentment, and anger. How often we react with wrath, resentment and anger. Pray that we might have the heart of God.
