My heart recoils within me;
    my compassion grows warm and tender.

Prayer Focus: Despite the people’s persistent rebellion and sin, God’s heart cannot give them up. God’s love for us is too deep and too strong. The heart of God is one of faithful love and warm, tender compassion. Could God really love you like that? Could God really love everyone like that? Could you love even your enemies in the same way that God loves those who turn away from the Lord? Pray for this kind of love – that you might receive it and that you might share it.
