Adult Discipleship Ministries

Adult Discipleship Ministry Team – The Adult Discipleship Ministry Team seeks to invite and inspire all people to explore their faith and find their connection to God, in order to transform their lives through the Living Word. This team plans and coordinates faith formation programs for adults of all ages.

Adult Ministries Event Planning Team – Volunteers are needed to serve on short-term teams to plan and execute Adult Christian Education Ministries events such as Kick-Off Sunday, a summer adult study series, or hosting a special speaker.

Adult Sunday School – Sunday school plays an integral part in encouraging adults to be lifelong learners and to develop an even deeper spiritual life. Each adult Sunday school class has a teaching team that works with the Director of Christian Education to choose curriculum, plan the schedule for the year, and lead lessons. Volunteer opportunities include serving as a teacher on a teaching team or serving as a substitute when needed.

Adult Weekday Study/Small Group Leader – A variety of Bible studies, short-term book studies, and small groups are offered during the week at Unity. If you are interested in starting or leading a Bible study or book study, or serving as a small group leader, please contact the Director of Christian Education or a member of the Adult Discipleship Ministry Team. Volunteer opportunities include teaching or assisting in weekday studies or small groups.

Small Group Planning Team – Volunteers are needed to serve on a team to plan and coordinate small groups for the 2024-2025 program year.
